SOURCE: sw 300 powered sub woofer

It sounds like your subwoofer acts as a receiver in its own right. Many low-budget home theater systems act this way, and it may in fact have a Dolby Pro Logic II encoder in it. Your best bet is to hook up either the speakers it came with, or purchase speakers from your local audio visual store. Check its power rating per speaker (in watts) in your manual, and purchase speakers that are rated for it.

The "red and white" input you mention are RCA connectors, and should allow you to connect a source to your system. If you have any more specific questions, please post them here.

The 2018 Honda Grom CDI power wiring diagram

Here is a basic wiring diagram for the CDI power circuit on a 2018 Honda Grom:
  1. The CDI power wire is typically a red wire that runs from the ignition switch to the CDI unit.
  2. The ignition switch is usually located on the right side of the handlebar and has three wires connected to it: a red wire, a black wire, and a white wire.
  3. The red wire from the ignition switch connects to the red wire on the CDI unit.
  4. The black wire from the ignition switch is typically a ground wire that connects to the frame of the motorcycle.
  5. The white wire from the ignition switch is usually a power wire that supplies power to the headlight and other accessories.
  6. The CDI unit converts the power from the ignition switch into a high-voltage spark that ignites the fuel in the engine.
Note: This is a general wiring diagram and the wire colors and connections may vary depending on the specific model and year of the Honda Grom. It is important to refer to the owner's manual or a detailed wiring diagram specific to your motorcycle for accurate information. Additionally, modifying the electrical system of your motorcycle may void the warranty and could cause damage or injury if done improperly

Hi and welcome to FixYa,
Initially, suggested checks on the wires:
  • black of igniter unit tied to ground;
  • orange wire from igniter to ignition coil with pulsating voltage when starting;
  • gray wire from igniter to ignition coil with pulsating voltage when starting;
  • IGN + 12 on red/white wire to igniter and ignition coils from engine stop switch;
  • IGN + 12 on red/white wire to engine stop switch coming from 10Amp ignition fuse;
  • pulsating low voltage from pickup coil between the wires black/white, white/green & yellow/red.
Postback results of above voltage tests.
Good luck and thank you for asking FixYa. Happy Holidays.
