Wiring diagram 2001 Harley Davidson FLHRI Road King

Changing the speed sensor on a 2001 FLHRCI where will I find the connection for the electronic speed sensor harness? @

    Steve.
Thanks for your response. What I was trying to locate is where the harness connector was, is under the battery or where.

Most of the electronic speed sensors are located on the right rear corner of the transmission. I think this is what you're asking anyway.

Good Luck

The connector should be on a short "pigtail" coming out of the main harness. It should be close by as well. It should by lying around the neutal indicator switch on top of the transmission. Of course, you never know what someone has done to any bike you're working on. Some dumby may have cut the thing off. Hope not. In my shop, I see all kinds of stuff that don't make sense.

    Good luck
    Steve

2003 road king speedometer stopped working & the mileage isn't changing either

Check to see if there is any back lighting.

Pull the speed sensor from the transmission case and if there are any metal filings on it clean them off and replace it. If there are not filings you may need to replace the sensor. The speedometer head itself or wiring conneftors could be the porblem as well.

My 2000 roadking speedometer does not work.is there a fuse or cable to fix this..

Should be electronic on a 2000 . Check your owners manual for fuse location , typically they are near the battery . you can also look near the transmission for loose wires at the vehicle speed sensor
