The clutchs start to stick together after they have been sitting for a while. Most of the time, you can hold the brake and clutch while starting, and they will break loose. If not, you'll have to remove the clutch cover and seperate the clutch discs, then put them back in.
at first push your bike to a hill (dosnt matter how big or small)
remember where you can put it into second gear hold the cluch in and push down the hill and let out the cluch and jump as soon as it bites then it should fire up same as a car but harder on a pit bike as you got too much throttle you will flip it and gotta do it all again haha hope this was helpfull
if it still doesnt fire up then you have a problem with your bike
1. make sure the petrol is on and the bike isnt flodded
2. make sure not too much throttle or it could be dangerous and if you do flip it lose go straight away
hi. a clutch sticking on after storage is not unusual. i find that if i put the bike in 2nd gear, pull the clutch lever in and rock the bike back and forth quite hard a few times that the clutch will free off. just make sure that the ingintion is turned off, or the lead is removed from the spark plug, to make sure that the bike cannot start. this has never failed me yet, and some of the bikes i have done this with were stored for quite a number of years. hope this helps
Sounds like the cut out switch on the kick stand. The bike shouldn't start if you have the kick stand down. Check the kick stand is fully retracted and that the switch is disengaging OK. Maybe the stand is slightly loose & its making contact even when retracted. Otherwise check the kill switch. Both parts are available cheaply on ebay & easy to replace.
I have same ride same problem put your ear down by the cluch lever and you will hear a click when you let the cluch out the same time the radio quits if you take the switch off and hold it closed the radio will work all the time
G'day. I can definatly help you with this. This is a problem I have come across many many times in my career as a motorcycle mechanic. It is a very common problem for bikes that have been sitting around for a while. What has happened is that all the clutch plates are stuck together. There are two ways to rectify this problem. One is to remove the clutch cover, remove the clutch springs, then the plates-noting the order- clean, re-lubricate & re-assemble. The other way- which I have sucessfully used in 98% of cases is to start the bike in neutral, chock the front wheel- I position the bike with the front wheel against a brick wall or good size tree for a dirt bike, hold on the front brake tightly, rev the engine & hold at about 2000 rpm, click it into 2nd gear.CAUTION- The bike may jump forward &/or stall(get some friends/helpers on each side as "catchers" if your not too confident) Try this a couple of times if necessary & it usually works. Also you could try riding the bike with some front brake applied whilst pulling the clutch lever in & out several times.(This seperates the pressure plates whilst the clutch basket is spinning & can let the oil acess the fibre & steel plates whilst there not under pressure). I hope this helps you. Kind regards Andrew Porrelli
the cluck need to be looked at as its draging its not fully disengaged witch is what makes the bike pull forwards when you put it in gear have a look at the free play in the cluch cable and if there is a lot take some out this will help to disengage the cluch a bit more but dont take all the free play out you need a little left in say 1/4 of an inch is plenty at the handelbars
Sounds like the battery you have in the bike has gone bad sence you have to jump start it all the time. And yes the bike will run bad cause the cdi need a good voltage to work correctly. Get new one and put in new asid in and put it on the charger till it is fully charged and you should be good to go.
I am afraid the engine and transmission will have to be separated and the splines on the clutch and transmission input shaft cleaned to remove rust and then re-lubed.
