I have a Corsaro Avio with 7000km.The fuel injection light came on recently and stays on but there seems to be no difference in performance. I have no expert service locally but plan to take the bike to one a long way away, 2000km, for the 10000km service. Should I do this earlier for the aforementioned problem?

If the bike now sounds different it has probably got a problem with the fuel injection somewhere that the computer has picked up.

If the sound of the bike has changed it may have dropped 1 cylinder and that is why it sounds different all of a sudden.

It could be a simple blocked injector or water in the your fuel - a bad batch of fuel will play havoc with the fuel injection system on any vehicle.

When was the last time you bought fuel ? was this problem only after getting new fuel? when was the last time the bike was serviced?

id have the fuel system checked buy someone that knows what they are looking at.

Drain it and put in fresh check for motorhead kracks white means water in engine.,,

The most likely cause is that the motor is running very lean. Make sure that all of the componets for the air intake system are connected and not leaking. This can happen if you have changed to one of the new high flow air cleaners like K&N. This causes the air/fuel mixture to have too much air and not enough fuel (lean). If you can adjust the carb then make it richer.,

you will have to trace the wires back and with the aid os a multimeter find where the fault is.

Try replaceing the injection module on the side of the injection pump.

possible coolant temp sensor fault. located next to t-stat, under neck hose connection.

Hello In April I bought the Pro software and 256mb ram . I also bought a 320gb Maxtor HD which I installed and completed a recent project satisfactorily. Today I attempted to boot up the Avio and was able to show the first page, i.e. V3 Avio, settings, project settings etc. As soon as I clicked the cursor on the project settings, it opened that screen for a split second and would not allow me access. It does not allow me access to any other settings either. I disconnected the power, etc, left it for over 30 mins, nothing helped. I also tried starting up with the smart media card in and it went to language screen. After clicking English it then stated' Smart Edit Avio V 3.6c, the installation was aborted. No alterations were made. Please remove Smartmedia card now' Can you help please?
