Any oil that is JASO MA certified motorcycle oil. 10w-40 for cold climate. 20w-50 for warm climate/touring. Car oils use different additives. Do not use any oil that says Energy Conserving on the label . It will shorten the life of your wet clutch and transmission gears. If you use Synthetic oils, they will help your bike run cooler and shift easier.
I run full synthetic in all my motorcycles. Suzuki sells a 15w-50 full synthetic for around $8 a quart.
I have read that full synthetic will lead to excessive cluch wear, so thats why im asking
Maybe if you use automotive synthetics.
Ok thanks
Just to clarify my last statement use only JASO MA rated MOTORCYCLE oil.
Do Not Use automotive oil it has the wrong additives.

SOURCE: front brakes works poorly. takes too much effort
This piston may have siezed in the caliper. A little rust, corrosion on the piston can be enough to sieze it especially if the bike is left standing for an extended period.

Sounds like jetting is to rich, recheck settings and fuel height settings, need to get the fuel mixture correct as that bike will develop other running issues due to carbon build up in the rear cylinder. check out www.roadstarclinic.com as this is a good source for information on this bike
SOURCE: i need the torque spec.
just make sure it good and tight. torque specs are more for surfaces that have gaskets or something you dont want over tightened. I use a 3/8 impact and just run it down tight.

Behind the left side oil cover under the seat. Remove the bolt on the cover and pull it off.
