This is a job that I would not touch without spending the money on a manuel, it's the best $60.00 you can spend.

First why did the battery die? Is it Old? Did you check the charging sys.? Stator? your problem may not have been the battery starter could be stuck put it in gear and rock the bike see if bendix releases try it again check your sys.

I have a 2007 Sportster, 883L and the alarm system will not allow it to start. I have tried both FOBs and replaced the batteries in the FOBs and the motorcycle battery. I cannot overide it, what can I do?...

Read your owners manual and set your code in the system to bypass the alarm. More than likely you are in an area that confuses the receiver that is trying to get the signal from the fob. Using the bypass code will allow it to start and get away from that area. Once away it should work alright.

Flat battery 2008 sportster 1200noon 8,000k

are you sure that the battery is flat and the alarm has not gone into spleep mode this will give the impression that the batt is flat when you try to disarm the bike , turn ignition on and off to wake up alarm, press fob button twice then turn ignition on. if you do have a flat battery use a battery charger or jump start with a car . if alarm was armed before battery went flat then it will go off as soon as power is restored.

Cannot start my 2004 Sportster 1200 Custom due to security system

Check the battery, try jump starting it with another battery. If the battery voltage drops too low, i believe the alarm default is to disble the bike. (Greasy little criminals will cut battery cables to disarm the alarm) so although you may have enough power to operate the lights and alarm, it may be droppoing too low to start.
