Go to Hilti's website and choose your country. You can find locations and parts. The TE2s was not introduced until the early 2000's. In 1981 a drill that size would have been a TE12s. If that is your model parts are no longer available through Hilti.

Hilti TE 17

I t will be poling or shorting out in the armature. Take it to a motor specialist but I think you will be up for either an armature or field windings.

Hilti TE14. It rotates slowly and i'm getting a burning smell from the area around the armiture?

I would bet the armature is shot for sure and possibly the field. When an armature shorts out it usually gives off excessive sparking from the brush area. When a field fails it will usually run very slow if at all.

Switch and circut board dont seem to be working looking 4 your best price for the parts. [email protected]

At this site we do not sell parts, we help with technical solutions, if you need a price on parts I would suggest calling Hilti direct at 1-800-879-8000 for their pricing and the location of a dealer near you.

Will the bits from the te-c3x fit my te-17

Yes. New bits will fit old Hilti drills. Old Hilti bits do not fit the new (last 15 years) Hilti drills.

Need brushes for an old style hilti te17

Hilti should be able to provide you with them. If not contact a local motor repair outlet and find brushes the same size, they are very easy to change on the TE series.

Failing that Hilti offers a trade-in program for their tools.
