Check the voltage regulator. If it is giving a to high voltage, it can cost you its of bulbs and in the end the electronics in the car. There voltage should be under 13,6 volt.
are all the signal light bulbs good? if one is out this will cause the blinker to run fast also maybe a bad blinker can
the head light and tail light are on the same fuse check under your rear fender and seat for a naked wire somtimes the tire wares on the wires if they run under the fender also check all running light wires (ie front fender light I had this problem with a FXR and it was the wire under the front fender to my fender light
I would start by checking the wires under the rear fender. A lot of the times there is a exposed wire or shorted out wire under there. It will continually blow the fuse.
Not necessarily a bare wire. Could just be a slight broken spot in the insulation. Check the wiring inside the rear fender. Sometimes the tire gets into the wiring harness and chews things up a bit. This usually happens on lowered bikes.
If it is just the dash and the tail lights then the small light fuse under the hood right side must be blowing. There must be a short somewhere. I had this problem recently. you need to look for the short in some odd places. there is a known defect in the sunvisors that can pinch wires and short this fuse. In my case the car stereo had a stray wire that was the problem. I think its the #15 fuse under the hood
You have a short to ground in the tail light circuit. This is most likly in the truck, from maybe loading the truck with something that might have pinched a wire. Look carefully at the wiring that might be in an area of the truck where something might have pinched the wire. If you find a problem, and it wont take much of a pinch, just enough to get through the insulation, put a bit of electrical tape around it and you are fine. The problem could also be in the front parking lights, this is the same circuit. Look under the front fender wheels or where ever the wiring runs to see if something has cut any wires. Maybe a wire clamp has come loose in the engine compartment where these front parking light wires run. See if you can follow the wires from both the front parking and from the tail lights looking for evidence of damage
