First you need to get a can of penatrating oil (not wd-40) and spray the bolts on the caliper and get it off of the front forks. next spray the pistons or piston if it just has one on the caliper spray them well, let it soak for at least 10 minutes. while it is soaking remove the fill cap from the master cylinder where the handle goes in!!! with the cap off get a c clamp and place it over the caliper and start closing the c clamp slowly until the cylinder goes all the way in, make sure to remove the pads first to prevent damage to the pads. next replace the fill cap and then put the caliper back on then slowly pull back on the brake handle until piston comes back out putting pressure on the rotor. if this does not free it do this up to three times if it still sticks you will need to rebuild or replace it. Good Luck

Take the front wheel off , clean out the mud, free all the frozen parts and grease the brake cam shaft going through the brake panel housing. Replace the front brake cable and you should be good to ride. Hint: If the front brake drum is full of mud you need to remove the rear wheel to clean out the mud and grease the brake cam shaft there also.

1. check for an intake leak in front of the carb, like broke carb gromet, carb flange o'ring/gasket leaking, or any broken or leaking vacuum lines. If the bike has been sitting for a while or has had little use, the carb is probably plugged up and needs cleaning.

1992 kawasaki Vulcan 750 stops running

Check the intake manifold/s, even a small leak will make it run poor. Being stored for five years then putting it into use, you may have a blocked main jet. Sea-foam is a great product and I would have used that product to store the bike but not to get it running. It is slow acting so it doesnt work like carb cleaner.

Restoring an 85 Honda accord

I have experienced problems w/ cars that have sat unused for some time, Here's what to expect: The gas can be a major problem. Gas can go bad after several months, although I have had vehicles sit for a year, and they started and ran fine, hopefully you will have the same luck that I did. If it goes bad, it gets gummy, and clogs up the carb or injectors. Next thing to consider is the brake system. Fluid should probably be flushed throughout the entire system. It's common for brakes to 'drag' after sitting for long periods, especially if brake fluid hasn't been changed in a long time. You may find that brake calipers or brake cylinders are seized up and need to be replaced/rebuilt. Other than that, change the oil and filter, also the air filter, (check for mouse nests in the air filter ) and once it's up and running, change trans fluid (is it auto or stick?). 60k, WOW, what a car! Good luck! Curt
