Hi, Garyb_inc 3-5 PSI for this scenario you will need your service manual that has all fastener torque specs and a wiring diagram on the back pages, parts fiche, and owners manual if you can't find the best tool you ever bought for your Suzuki, despair not, for a mere zero $0 you can download another one.

SOURCE: 2005 Suzuki boulevard c50 won't start, starter

I'm thinking it's either the ignition switch or a fuse.
Try replacing the fuses first...it's easier.
If it's not the fuses feel free to post again and we'll work on the switch,or try alternate ideas.

Suzuki VL800 C50. Would not start, i remembered I always heard the fuel pump run prior to stating, this has not happened, found the 10amp FUEL fuse blown, replaced, heard the fuel pump run up to pressure,...

make sure the fuel pump is pumping fuel by taking off the feed pipe , then turn the ignition on and see if any fuel comes out ( into a container ) ! try the same when cranking the engine also and see what happens !

2005 Suzuki Boulevard C50 fuel pump not coming on

Hi, Tim the following is a systematic procedure for diagnosing fuel pump issues designed to keep "DRACHMA" to a minimum. If you need parts check with Amazon and eBay first to keep costs down.
1. If your pump does not turn on check the pump fuse and relay and all wiring including connectors for corroded, broken, or loose pins/sockets.
1. Normal fuel pump pressure is 3-5 PSI.
2. Check any rubber or plastic tubing for age-related pinholes by removing and plugging the ends that connect to the fuel valve and then turn on the ignition switch and watch for fuel streams exiting the pinholes, if any exist, replace tubing as necessary.
3. Check for a clogged a primary fuel filter that comes off the bottom of the pump to screen out big rocks and clean as necessary.
4. Check for a clogged secondary fuel filter that's outside if applicable by removing it from the system and replace it with a short splicing tube turn on the ignition switch and recheck fuel pressure if pressure increases to normal pressure you need a new secondary filter.
5. If all the above check out OK and the pump is not functioning properly then you need a new fuel pump.

This spring my bike ran great for 200 miles, than began lose power and backfire. I took it to a dealer and they cleaned the fuel injector and then it ran great for about 4 mo. Now it is doing the same...

There is no filter, but a screen over the fule pump intake in the tank. You could put a filter into the line from the tank to the injectors, just make sure that there is no leakage under pump pressure.

i have same problem and tested all the way to the pump it turns out that it is the fuel pump regulator. the regulator is attached to the pump directly and it sticks. unfortunatly you can't replace just the regulator have to replace the whole pump which is in the tank
