Sounds like the carbs are all messed up either too lean, does it run hot? or too rich is your mileage crappy and does it love to rev? get it mixture changed accordingly or have it re-jetted

SOURCE: 04road king ck engine light comes on like normal

if it's yellow you have a fuel problem, dirty air cleaner or something blocking air flow air flow meter giving you some problesms, best to get it to a shop and hooked up to a diagnostic system. If it's red quit running it and take it in for repairs.

SOURCE: setting the timing 2002 road king fuel injected

Your bike's timing can only be adjusted through an interface to your ECM like the Screamin Eagle Race Tuner. Have you made any changes to the exhaust or intake? Have you added and aftermarket item like a Power Commander? changes in these areas could account for the problem you are having. hope this helps.

SOURCE: My 2000 road king fuel injection starts right up

this could be a couple of different things first thing is to make sure your fuel pump pressures up the system, turn on ignition and listen for your fuel pump to come on,second is to your ignition on and off at least two or three more times this will reset your idle air contol.(make sure you are not on the throttle when you shut the bike off) If this does not clear up the problem you could have a bad senser or loose connection. good luck

2000 roadking doesn't start

Sounds like your battery is shot. Put a new battery in and try, with the new battery in and it works ok for awhile and then starts repeating the same problem, it will be in your charging system.

My engine light on my 01 road king comes on & off every few seconds. Running great though. What could be the problem???

That flashing light is a indicator of the security system, I added some lighting to the rear of my 04 Roadking, and ever since, the same light flashes, it is tied to the security system.
Mine has been like this for 3 years, LOL. Runs great, I know that I caused the problem by rewiring my rear wiring harness.

06 Road King Classice shuts off when in 4th gear beloe 50mph

It's normal for the check engine light to take from 0 to a couple seconds to turn off. The computer runs a system check. Put an oil pressure gauge on the bike and watch it closely. If your pressure drops when the bike loses power, the engine may be locking up from lack of oil. Another possibility is your lean-angle cut-off switch is defective. The switch cuts power to the bike in case you lay it down. Harley also has had problems with their fuel injection system losing power for no apparent reason.

Harley engine Running high RPM, the engine runs fine for a while and then it starts racing at high RPM. If I shut it down and start it up again it's fine for a while. This is a 96Road King with fuel...

The problem is an air leak leaning the fuel mix. The idle speed starts going up a ramp until it is wide open. The valves no longer seating well is a possible cause as is air manifold gaskets, rings and a cylinder head not torqued down tight.
