I have an aprilia rs 125 full power 1999 model my problem is that it starts fine and revs ok but when i go to stick it in gear and take off it just dies on me

Try checking the connection for the stand light coz if its going wrong itll cut the engine off i had the same problem so i disconnected it

Aprilia rs 125 put the bike into gear and push it with the clutch leaver held in and its still in gear it starts fine then just cuts out when put into gear
Check for proper operation of side stand switch, clutch switch, neutral indicator lights up as it should on neutral gear position.

I guess youwillhaveto adjust the clutch cable so as to open the plates more at the pressure plates to let the clutch plate rotate freely instead of binding thus the low rpm.
