Where is the air filter in 2000 suzuki marauder 800

There are two of them. One for each carb. The rear one is just in front of ht battery box under the seat. It can be removed by removingn the 4 screws under the right side cover. The front one is under the tank. you must remove the tank then remove the air box from the frame it's the black box near the handle bars. once the air box is removed the filter comes out the same as the rear one.

The engine on your 2000 Marauder 800 is the same 805cc engine as on my 2006 Boulevard S-50. They take two spark plugs, one per cylinder near the exhaust ports. I recommend NGK- 5129 gapped at 0.035 inches.

There are three filters that I know. Air filter , oIL filter , fuel filter. You probably need to replace all.

NO, It has a water cooled engine and needs the radiator to cool the coolant that cools the engine. Not air cooled like Dads old bike..

this is an air intake problem check the air filter is clean also check air filter is the same model as original as some air filters require a carb retune to function properly
