This can be done by looking through the frame at the top of the engine, however the best way will be to remove the seat, tank and airbox, the plugs can then be closely observed, do 1plug at a time, this way you wont mixup the leads, do 1 plug replace the cap, then do the next 1

How do I know if my spark plugs need changing on a peugeot 206 cc

Your spark plugs provide the spark needed to get the petrol in your engine to burn. If a spark plug isn't working properly, it won't spark, so the fuel won't burn and the engine won't run properly. It will feel rough, you could lose power, have problems starting, etc.

For a 206 these should be changed roughly every 40,000 miles or 4 years, whichever comes first.

How you change them depends on your engine size, if you tell me I can give you the procedure. Or just take it to a garage, a new set of plugs cost around GBP16-24 depending which ones you buy, they shouldn't charge you much to fit them as it's a 15 minute job.

Changing spark plugs on 2004 matrix, is it something i can do at home or do i need more technical know how. if i can please explain the proceedure. thanks

Hi, the 2004 Toyota Matrix requires Iridium spark plugs, which retails for about $12 at the dealership, and it should not need to be changed until 120,000 miles.
To change the spark plug, remove the black cove off the top and they will be right there. You will probably need atleast an 8" extender to get to them becasue they don't have Spark Plug wires atleast on the 2zz-ge aka XRS Motor I do Not Know aboout The 1zz-fe AKA Matrix, XR, AWD

I would like to know how to change the spark

FIRST OF ALL YOU HAVE CHANGE SPARK PLUGS WHEN ENGINE IS COOL.IF YOU CHANGE THEM WHILE ENGINE IS HOT YOU COULD DAMAGE THE ALUMINUM HEADS OR CAUSE DISTORTION.TO CHANGE SPARK PLUGS YOU NEED A SPARK PLUG SOCKET.A TORQUE WRENCH.ITS NOT MANDATORY.BUT IT WILL KEEP YOU FROM OVER TIGHTEN SPARK PLUGS.YOU NEED A 3/8 RATCHET AND EXTENSION.YOU ALSO NEED A SPARK PLUG GAP GAUGE.AND SPARK PLUG BOOT PULLER.YOU ALSO NEED SOME ANTI SEIZE COMPOUND.TO PREVENT DAMAGE THREADS WHEN INSTALLING THE SPARK PLUGS.

Need to know where spark plugs are located in order to change

Follow the spark plug wires down into the engine, a soft tug should pull the wire loose from the plug and then you will need a spark plug socket to change them.
