CHECK YOU HAVE SUFICIANT WATER IN THE SYSTEM FIRST, THEN BYPASS THE FAN THERMAL SWITCH ON THE RADIATOR, TO CHECK OPPERATION OF THE FAN, IF THIS WORKS IT MAY BE YOUR THERMOSTAT IS NOT OPENING

I suggest reading the manual. First, to "program" your tstat you would not use the hold button. Hold is if you do not want a program. Second, make sure your fan selector is in the auto position.
Is the fan running inside the freezer? To see that you have to remove the back panel of the freezer. Also how much stuff are you putting into the freezer please make sure you are not blocking the vents inside the freezer. Also when you remove that back panel ensure the vent tubes to the fridge area are not blocked.
Mike, a 12/12 pitch is 45 degrees. You may have to use a little math to figure out how far down to hang the 44" fan to keep from hitting the angle of the ceiling. Geometry specifically. Remember the A sq + B sq = C sq for figuring the hypoteneuse of a right triangle?? If the ceiling fan is 44", the base (A) of the right triangle is 22" with NO CLEARANCE to the angled ceiling. A 45 degree angle dictates the base and the height are equal, so height (B) of the triangle is also 22" with NO CLEARANCE. If you want a few inches of clearance, extend the height by 4" and there should be enough clearance to allow the fan operation.
I would suggest playing with the figures before you buy the extension rods though. The simple answer to you question remains however...45 degrees.
I have the same problem: bought it used, hooked it up, doesn't work. I was careful during the move, did not drop it or set it down hard. I have researched the problem and the most common reason is the 'R11 resistor is blown'. Solution is to buy a $250.00 circuit board. I wonder to what degree this may be built in obsolescence.
Did your ever notice is the blower the CPU is working. If not work so that's the cause of the heat. If the fan work use external fan that to use under the unit, you can buy it and your computer shop. If your using for longer hours heat will produce on the upper portion of the laptop mean i transfer. It is normal as long as the laptop OS doesn't hang. If its hang that's the big problem. Advice: use external blower to cold down the unit
has the oven got a fan on it. if so then maybe fan is faulty.

Remove the top cover, plu it back in and see if the hum goes away, if it
doesn`t look to see if the fan is stuck, if it is unplug and try to spin it
by hand, if it wont spin replace the fan motor
Just curious, there sometimes is a safety switch on the
door to the fan unit so no one gets hurt opening it to
change filters ...etc... make sure all the doors are on tightly
