I went to start my scooter and had a dead battery. Tried to charge it but it wouldn't hold a charge so I bought a new one and installed it. The scooter started up but the electronic display is flashing on and off along with the battery light. I shut it off and let it sit over night. When I went to start it the next day my new battery was dead. Any idea what might be causing this?

Probably the regulator is faulty and leaking the battery power away.

Look at the starter relay by fuse box , there is a wire that is way to short , take apart & clean dirt & corrosion of the push terminal back on relay connection or take to Kawasaki dealership & tell them to fix the short wire in the Harness as it is a manufacturing defect

I went to start my 92 lumina and it wouldn't start... the battery was dead, so I jumped it with a jump box and it was fine... I drove it to the store and back. 2 days later the battery was dead again...

first you half to determine if the alternater is working. you do his by jumping the car and while its running take of the neg cable off to the car if it dies then you know the alternater is not working properly,
if it stays running you know you have a electricalen short you half to trace down

I bought a scooter on thursday and had to jump start it before I set off home and after 30 or so miles I thought the battery would be recharged but it didnt, so I went and bought a new battery now 3 days...

When your battery went flat before it was replaced the charrging current should have been measured before the new one was put into the scooter.
So now use a voltmeter to see the charging current and voltage with the scooter started adn rev'd up.
If there is no incremental change then the alternator, recifier, regulator is faulty and the circuit checked backward to change the faulty device.

Have an e100 razor electric scooter. it has not been used for a couple of years. I got a new e100 charger and tried to charge but i noticed that the green light stays on and the red light charging does not...

The batteries are dead. The battery in these scooter need to be kept charged or if not in use for a long time charged every 3months. Otherwise, like what to you, they will go dead. The chemicals in the battery have deteriorated to the point where it won't hold a charge. Replacement batteies are available at:

Ezip 150 electric scooter. won't start.

Hi, did you charge the batteries for at least 8 hours? Make sure that your charger has a RED Light When you plug it in, You should see Green light in 4-8 hours depending on the Batteries.
Secondly Your scooter batteries were dead when you got the Scooter, Judging from the fact you didn't get a Charger with it. I would recommend getting a voltmeter and checking the battery voltages. If the voltage is 11-12 volts, then you need new batteries. If this doesn't work check that fuse on the scooter it could be blown.
