I HAD ONE OF THOSE KITS ON MY HERITAGE AND I FOUND IT TO BE A ***** TRAP , SORRY , I RECENTLY CONVERTED MY BIKE WITH A DNA SPECIALTIES TRIKE KIT THAT HAS A SOLID AXLE AND LEARNED A LOT, SUCH AS TRIKES NEED STEERING STABILIZERS, I MAY WANT TO ADD A RAKE KIT EVENTUALLY TO HELP WITH THE PULL OR WOBBLE WHEN I HIT BUMPS IF THAT'S WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT, EITHER WAY I GOT RID OF MY "TRAINING WHEELS" BECAUSE OF THINGS LIKE GETTING HUNG UP IN STONE DRIVEWAYS AND GOING INTO TURNS I WOULD END UP ON AN OUTSIDE WHEEL LEAVING MY CENTER WHEEL IN THE AIR ...RIDE SAFE
Who made the kit? Is it a true trike kit or one of these kits that leaves the original swingarm and rear wheel on and simply adds two more wheels to the rear. Either way, I'd contact the manufacturer of the kit and see what they had to say. It sounds like the rake on the front end has changed or the center of gravity has changed.
Good Luck

Steve,
Thank you for the information. It is a kit that leaves the original swingarm and rear wheel on and simply adds two more wheels to the rear. The manufacturer is Tow - Pac.

Yes, I've seen these kits before and they look pretty neat. I have never ridden one of the kits but I have ridden a trike before. They do handle differently from a regular motorcycle in that they don't lean. They're more like riding a four wheeler. Again, if you don't think the handling is correct, contact the manufacturer of he kit. There may be an adjustment that is not correct or something. I'm sorry I can't advise you more but I have no experience with these kits, I've only seen them on other people's bikes.
