For my 1980 Goldwing I changed the clutch cable as it had stretched. Also do frequent oil changes because the engine oil also lubricates the transmission. My left hand grip had also worn a bit where the pin fits so I replaced it when I did the cable.

WHERE DO I FIND WHER TO PUT IN FLUID FOR CLUTCH FOR MY 1985 HONDA GOLDWING GL 1200 INTERSTATE?

Dot 3/4 brake fluid is added to the clutch master cylinder on the left handle bar. The left (clutch) handle bar lever is attached to the clutch master cylinder. To add fluid you will have to remove the phillips screws (4 x 12 oval screws) holding the cover on. Be sure to lay plastic over the motorcycle (with a towel or rags over that) to protect the bikes plastic and paint from any DOT 3/4 fluid you may spill during the filling or bleeding process. Caution: brake fluid will brittle and crack expensive Honda plastic.

Six years is a long time and you are plrbably having a good time getting it going. My friend, I suggest you have the Honda Shop do a dune up on your machine before youtake it anywhere serious.

SMELL ANTIFREEZE BUT CANT FIND A LEAK

Yes it has a water pump and it is inside the right crankcase cover. It is probably just fine. There is a thermostat that is probably stuck closed. The water can't circulate to cool the engine. Don't mess with the bike without a service manual. Google " motorcycle repair manuals honda ". Also the site below.
