Look at the sidewall of both tires. There will be a 'MAX PSI' embossed on the tire. It will probably say Max 45 PSI. At 45psi the bike will ride like a rock. At 15psi it will ride really squirrely. Find a psi at which you feel the bike handles well and rides well. One rider may weigh 125 pounds and the next rider may weigh 300 pounds. The best psi for each rider will be different due to weight. Chances are that 30 to 35 psi will do the trick.

The letters TPMS are coming up on my dash but goes off then comes back on. What does that mean?

Tire pressure monitoring system, suggest checking air pressure in tires. Best to check and set when tires are cool. You might have a leak in a tire, but they may just need to have pressure set. When the temperature changes it can cause variations in tire pressure. Hope that tells you what you need to know !

Tire sensor light comes on every so often pressure is right how do i turn light off crv 2010 honda

The trouble with Tire Pressure Sensors (TPS) is that they are in my opinion, too sensitive. Even a drop in tire pressure of 2 PSI seems to set them off. You may notice that the light comes on in the morning (when it's cool) but goes off after a short drive. Once your tires have warmed up (either from an outside temperature increase or by road friction) the air in the tire expands, increasing the tire pressure slightly, -usually satisfying the TPS and the light goes out.

I've used both of these methods to solve this issue: Get your tires filled with nitrogen (less expansion/contraction than air) or you could increase the tire pressure at the air filling station by few PSI.

Tire pressure light remains on and loud alarm goes off on 2003 pathfinder

Your owners manual should have a troubleshooting chapter. It also has codes many times for tire pressure causing lights to go on.

When a tire change is done is there a reason the low air warning light goes on?

ok first question did you put the exact same tire size that was on the car factory. If you change the tire size then the pressure for the tire goes up or down to meet that tire spec. your car just reads what the settings are for the stock tires so a change in size will make the sensor think the tire is low. If you put the same size tire back on then the system may jusy need reset.

Tire pressure sensor fault goes on while driving

Tire pressure always changes...
when you drive your vehicle for a long period of time the tires' temperature goes up along with the
pressure in your tires, the molecules in the air inside your tires get excited (hot)
when your vehicle is immobile for a while your tires' temperature goes down along with the
pressure in your tires, the molecules in the air inside your tires get compacted (cold)
This is the best time to get a true PSI reading from your tires....
the recommended tire pressure on most tires should be set at 35PSI
But there might be a problem with your sensors, I work with TOYOTA their sensors are set up to
where when the PSI on your tires drops below the 35PSI, the tire pressure light would then
come on.
You should also check if your spare tire comes equipped with pressure sensors, which in most cases
they do, depending on the type of tire the PSI on spare tires will usually range from 35PSI- 80PSI
you can check your owners manual for this, or simply read the recommended PSI written on the
tire.

Tire pressure light remains on.

We took it back to the dealer. They made the necessary adjustments needed after the winter tires +rims were put on.

Tire pressure light

On the lower left hand side of the dash, near the Traction control button, is a small push button. Just press and hold until the Tire Pressure light goes out. Of course, make sure you're pressure is ok, otherwise, it will just come back on in a couple minutes.
