I'm thinking that has front brakes. If there is a cable running to hub from handle bars, then yes. Also, look for an arm sticking out from side of center hub that may have had a brake hooked up if no cable from handle bars. Rotating that slightly one way or the other should release brakes, and apply them the other way. If that doesn't work and the linkage (arm) is there for brakes, you may have to pull front wheel and pull it apart to fix.

Tip

Ignition Key won't turn in Honda Accord

Hi There,

Your sitting there looking at the dash, the keys and thinking impure thoughts. Not to worry. This is what is happening:

Your front wheels are slightly (or more) off center. They are trying to center themselves and in doing so are putting pressure on the lock plate which allows the key to turn.

The fix is fast and simple

Which ever way the front wheels are pointing, however slightly, turn the steering wheel a little bit further in the same direction, then try the key while holding the wheel over.

Doing this takes the pressure off the lock plate and allows the cylinder to move.

If you don't have the key that's a whole different fix......

Best regards
Mike

2010 Honda CBF125 front end tweaked

Hi, Sach if you have a minor accident, lay your bike down and the front end gets 'TWEAKED" where the front wheel is going in one direction and your handlebars are going in the opposite direction, despair not, there is a quick fix.
1. If your handlebars are turning right turn the front end all the way to the right making contact with the fork stop. Find the 10:00 o'clock position on the front wheel and give it a good swift kick with your foot, put the front wheel in a straight-forward position and eyeball the orientation of the handlebar. Usually, it only takes one or two kicks to get everything back to normal. If you overshoot, no big scare, just turn the front end all the way to the left fork stop and find the 2:00 o'clock position and give it a soft kick.
2. If your handlebars are turning left turn the front end all the way to the left fork stop. Find the 2:00 o'clock position on the front wheel and give it a good swift kick with your foot, put the front wheel in a straight-forward position and eyeball the orientation of the handlebar. Usually, it only takes one or two kicks to get everything back to normal. If you overshoot, no big scare, just turn the front end all the way to the right fork stop and find the 10:00 o'clock position and give it a soft kick.
Continue the process until you are comfortable with the alignment. It's always a good idea to retorque any accessible handlebar riser bolts as well as the upper and lower fork clamps to proper book specs.

My steering wheel is locked...i tired to fix my

You might try turning the wheel a little back and forth while you try to turn the key to unlock the steering wheel. Also, you could try jacking up the front end to get the wheels off the ground.

hi we had the same problem with our p&t sports buggy, brand new out of the box the front wheel kept locking, driving me mad! we contacted our supplier, kiddicare.com, who were extremely helpful and sent out a "front wheel swivel/fixed catch (screw fixing)" - it has WORKED WONDERS! the buggy is now smooth and easy to handle. you have to remove the old catch pin which can be a bit of a fiddle (when we got the old pin out it was a rivet fixing and very rusty) but only took us 10 minutes. highly recommended if you can get hold of one of these new screw fix pins, which have obviously been brought out to fix a common fault which p&t can't be bothered to recall lots of buggies and fix themselves...... ;)
