My 2000 VZ800 Marauder, after getting warmed up, will over time start to drop RPMs periodically, ever so briefly at first but will eventually get to the point where it stalls. I have changed the plugs, but have not been able to clean the carbs yet. Could this be the problem?

Yes it indicates towards the dirty carb.Cleaning the carb should help. The "idle jet is clogged or dirty".Also it can be air leak issue.Try spraying a little starter around where the carb attach and on any joins in the carbs. If the idle changes you have an air leak. But as per problem, cleaning the carb and jets throughly should help.--------- This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.

2000 VZ800 marauder runs mostly on one cylinder

It seems there is too much of fuel going into the non firing cylinder thus the blackish spark plug, recheck the float level to that carburater and also check the valve clearance.

2002 Suzuki Marauder VZ800 Front cylinder does not fire till bike warms up a bit?

Definately try a spark plug first. What does the old spark plug look like? ( white, oil fouled, melted, metallic?). Usually a fuel issue will make the inoperable cylinder very hot. Might have a loose valve guide in the head, or a bent valve.
