The DT series had I believe a separate oil tank and oil injection pump.
Ensure the oil tank vent is clear, (some tanks have vent hose, others vented cap)...you need a vent to delivery oil to pump suction.
On the pump, ensure the stroke adjustment cable from the throttle is connected and rotates with throttle.
That will happen as the projector loses syncronisation with the in coming video. Check the leads and connectors for poor contact. The lamp will not give that effect.
make sure the kill switch in in place.Make sure you have fuel, pull the choke turn the tiller 1/4 throttle and pull should fire up after 4 max.If it doesnt prob need a carb clean
This appears to be a failure of the Throttle Control Module, integral to the the Throttle linkage. It is a DIY practical project. Just take care to observe the set up as you dismantle the parts, and install them in the reverse order.
