Has the fuel tank been checked for rust or contaminated fuel? Is it loosing spark when it stalls or running out of fuel due to blockage or fouled fuel in tank. I need you to find out what is happening that stalls the engine before I can even begin to help. Also you will need a good set of motorcycle troubleshooting experience to check this, if not take it back to the technican and have him fix it right, you paid for a fix, now demand the reapir be done correctly.
I would replace the battery and check the cables to it for corrosion, motorcycle batteries have a very short life span due to the compact size, and I have had many that worked the lights but would not crank the engine at all. You will also need to check the battery charging system to verify the battery is getting charged from the Alternator, the Voltage at the battery with the engine running should be around 13.6-14.2 Volts DC with the engine running at around 1500RPM.
I read your reply about the lights come on and you think the battery is ok, I would still verify the Battery cables are clean and tight and free of corrosion, and that you have the battery load tested. The starter motor draws about 75 Amps, and if the Battery is low it may go open internally at the post when you put that kind of a heavy load on it, this is common in motorcycle batteries. Also as I mentioned you need to have the battery charging system tested (Alternator) to verify it has enough output to keep the battery charged up and handle the electrical system loads. A good alternator should put out 13.4-14.4 volts, this test is run with the engine at 1500RPM. This bike is new to the market and is made in Taiwan, very little technical information is available on it, i.e. other owners complaints and problems. I would take it back to whomever did the service work, if it is a reputable repair shop they will take a closer look at the problem and do the Battery and Alternator tested as a courtesy since you paid them to already to fix the problem, they missed something here.
Have the shops technican look at the side stand starter cutoff safety switch, it may be the problem, this switch is supposed to not allow the starter motor to engage whenever the kick stand is down, it is safety device. I am sorry I missed that, this may be the source of the no start issue that plagues you right now.
You could look under the bike at the switch and see if it is broken or the wiring is damaged yourself. The switch is located right at the side stand pivot on the frame. It should have a plunger that is depressed when the side stand is up, that is the most common design.
Great, hope you are riding soon. I will be out of town all weekend so any further questions won't get answered until Monday morning. Thanks

Hi The oil light is for low oil pressure. If your bike is not running then the light should be on as the engine has to be running to develop oil pressure. Does the motor turn over when you try to crank? However it sounds like two problems, electrical and mechanical. 1. Check your battery and see if it has any power. One question about this, can you hear a relay or solenoid clicking when you try to crank it? If not then your rectifier could have give shorted out. 2. It sounds like the clutch has let go. (Hopefully a clutch and not a gear or bearing.) Another mechanical failure could be a broken cam chain or chain tensioner, but this is unlikely since the engine was running until you came to a stop. Please get back to us if you have further query else please accept the suggestion.

All the lights turn on and "neutral" light is on to indicate it is not in gear. The light to let me know the kick stand is down is on. The headlight is on. If those lights are working, doesn't that mean the battery is ok? When I drove it from the shop, it was fine. I put gas in it and drove it about 10 miles before the engine stoped and I had to slowly bring it to the side. I let it sit for a bit and it started again.
Last night I just sat on it and kept the kick stand on, kept it in neutral, and started it for about 3 minutes and then the engine light came on and it started to stall and turn off. It sounds like it is going to start but does not. Im not sure what a relay or solenoiod clicking is.

Im sorry. I said engine light earlier....I meant oil light
HI,
DO YOU HAVE AN ANSWER FOR ME YET
THANK YOU. I WILL ASK THE TECH TO TAKE A LOOK AT IT AGAIN AND ASK THESE QUESTIONS. WHAT ABOUT THE FACT THAT I STARTED IT WITH THE SIDE STAND STILL DOWN. IT RAN FOR ABOUT 3 MINUTES LIKE THAT BEFORE SHUTTING DOWN AND THE CHOKE NOT WORKING EITHER. THE SHOP SEEMS TO THINK IT MIGHT HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH THAT.
