Sounds like the battery is dead and the alternator is not putting out power. The truck runs off the alternator after it starts. The battery is just there to start the truck. Try to jump start the truck again and once it is running take the positive cable off the battery and if it stops running you have a problem with the alternator.
Could be scooter battery voltage is too low for charger to charge battery.
(It is a problem with gel cell batteries I have got a scooter that won't charge at all at home am going to try jump starting with another battery to fool the charger but I might have to buy new batteries. The Nursing homestaff took the scooter off my father in law and left it in the shed to get nice and flat instead of leaving it on float charge I should send them a bill for new batteries
You can't charge a dead battery with a dead battery. The alternator needs power in order to generate power. So you jump and it starts, but because the battery has little to no power, you're getting little to no recharging. Charge the battery with a REAL battery charger. Then try running it. if you are right and it has been discharged for this long it will take a long time for it to start to charge.it could also not charge ever again. batteries have to have a minimum off 1.5volts to be able to recharge. if it drop lower than this it cannot charge. now sometimes you can jump start the battery with a slightly higher voltage but only to the battery not in the unit. goes as follows. 1.5v battery jump 3 seconds on 3volt. 3v battery jump 6volt 3 sec, 9volt jump 12volt 2 seconds, 12volt 14-16volt 2 seconds 2 times. 14volt and 16volt is max 24volt 1 second at 3 intervals. all these are set at a 3amp no higher amp.
did you check battery ? fuel flow ? spark plugs ? carb/injection ? and engine compression ? ... if its cold outside you can consider spraying a bit of engine starter into the air intake ( not to much ) or you can try jump starting it as a last resolution. what are the exact symptoms?
Your battery power has been drained. First thing I would do is to charge the battery via using another car to jump start the car and let it run for an hour or two. Or get a charger and jump the car. Either way I would run it for an hour or two recharge the battery. If that doesn't work then you will have to replace the battery.
A low of 11 psi, for muddy conditions only without rocks or big jumps. A high of 15 psi for very rocky or large jump landings. I run a constant 13 psi.
Check the alternator and battery clemmas/wires coming from alternator. It looks like no charge from it coming to battery. If it is second battery already this is the sign. You can do it free of charge at autozone store. But any way as a temporary solution you can buy battery charger ($25 walmart) and charge the battery back if battery is damaged you will see it right away (it wont be charging). After you charge battery back start the engine run it for 30 minutes (if Alternator OK it is enough to charge battery back), stop and start again. If no start alternator is a problem.
Good Luck
