That is just the pump on your Ferrari priming Dale.

That's normal the pump is priming and will not shift if the light is flashing until it stops. If the car is sitting still it will only get 1 and 2 gear and reverse if it's running, But if the car is shut off you should get all your gears.

have you done a cross wire test, under the back seat a white plug rubber jacket on it, pull off blk rubber, use a hair grip scraped on the concrete, fit into the two terminals that have wires, and the f1 on dash will change and give a code, if you need the codes let me know.

Have you replaced your exhurst system if you have did you put the O2 sensor back in as f1 error code is for this sensor and your CPU can not tell if the engine is running correctly and will shut the engine down when a gear is selected

Shine a flashlight on the dark screen to see if you barelysee the icons on the desktop. If so, then the LCD Inverter is bad.

Plug in an external monitor and see if the display shows up on it. It can beany kind of monitor even the old big fat crt monitors as long as it has a vgacable to connect to your computer's vga port. If so that proves yourvideo card is ok. The video will show on most systems when you rebootwithout you having to do anything. Some systems will require you to hit the FN(Function key) + F1 thru F12. Hold down the FN key then hit the correctkey for displaying on the monitor (F1 thru F12). The correct key willnormally have CRT/LCD on it or it will have the icon of a display.

If you see no icons by shinning a flash light and the external monitor works,then your screen is bad. If you see no icons by shinning the flash lightand nothing shows on the external monitor, then most likely your video card isbad.

Your hard drive is junk. Replace the hard drive.

If the flash bios installation was stopped, you might have to do it from dos, otherwise, go ahead and press f2 and correct any obvious errors (ie floppy drive listed and not present)

F7-E1 - Common Switch Wire Is Defective - This error occurs when common wire to latch switch and door switch is shorted.
Check all connections at control board and at the latch switch and door switch.
If connections are ok, then check individual switches as outlined for the F5 error code.
