SOURCE: turn signal wire colors right and left

The circuit breaks the ground to work. Both wires go to both signals, the black have two different connections to get back to the signal relay 9different paths). Take your old wires and follow back to see how the were run before.

Hello, the heated seats and aux sockets have stopped working on my 2009 v50? Any suggestion? I have checked the fuses and they are fine.

Hi , Look under the seat and see if any wires are frayed or broken.
replace and/or repair. Pull connections apart and reconnect them.
Sometimes it's just a bad connection. Good luck.

John Deere 790 stalling out

My problem with my John Deere 790 stalling was my safety seat switch. It's a quick fix! What I had to do to fix my 2006 John Deere 790, was:
1. Un-hook the switch wires under the seat that connect to the seat switch.
2. Then, connect all of them with little wire clamps (or you can use a raw wire and connect them all) inside the wire connector, with the 4 connectors in it, to bypass the seat switch. Hot wire all of them together. It somehow resets the switch.
3. Then, with my 790 Deere in neutral, I started it up and held the key in starter position for about 2 seconds. (Instead of letting go right when it fires up) Somehow, in doing this, the seat switch reset and I was able to reconnect the switch and the seat switch works as it should now. My Deere 790 front loader fires right up without stalling now, while in neutral, of course. So, try this first because it's a quick fix. I hope this helps.
Cheers,
Aaron

Driver heater seat will not turn off when engine is off

Recommend to use flashlight and locate the wires to the underseat heater, There should be a pair coming up from the floorcarpet under the seat to the seat itself. Be really sure you have the correct wires, not the power seat wires. Suggest to cut those wires with scissors and separately tape each end of the wire coming up from the floorcarpet to prevent shorting out. Need to find someone who can work on the problem before hooking up the wires again. Without taking this step, you should have a dead battery quickly.

Circut breaker for the Power locks ,remote and power drivers seat

Try unplugging the power to the seat, and see if the locks will work and the breaker cools off. If not, you may have a short in the door jam where all your wires go through.

Need to hook up wiring harness for boat trailer. conector has been cut from ford explorer 94 4x4. dont know which wires need to be wired together.

the best way is with the use of a test light and find a good ground for one end and use the other to find your signals with the key on so to ensure power to the wires themselves and then with a 2 x 4 ahainst the seat propped the brake or assistance if available and find them as well also backup lights with the tire chucked so it dont roll on you find these as well by connecting via the diagram that the new harness came with or if none is available connect them until they are correctly working order then secure them should have a quick disconnect coupler with it so you may remove it for future use

Wiring To an 08 Ultra Classic

If you are mounting the unit to the bars or fairing, I would recommend using a power lead which is available in the fairing, rather than the AUX accessory switch.  The AUX switch sends power to a connector under the seat, in front of the battery.  You would need to run new wires up under the fuel tank, along the neck and into the fairing to connector your Zumo to the AUX.  Instead, there is a 12+ V switched ignition power lead which is not used on U.S. touring bikes and would be perfect for connecting your Zumo.  Pull the fairing off the bike (7 screws, TORX T-27) and look at the headlight harness, which is 3 wires, black, white, yellow.  Attached to this harness will be 2 wires, a black and an orange w/ white stripe.  The orange will have a red silicone cap over it to prevent it from shorting out in the fairing.  Cut the zip-ties which connect these 2 wires to the headlight harness and then hook it up to your Zumo, black is negative, Orange positive.

Car stereo switch out

Ok, first off, NEVER CUT WIRES!!!! what you need to do is go to your local audio store ie. best buy etc. buy a wire harness. It makes everything so simple, just match colors. If your wires are already cut, then you need a haynes manual about $15.

Quick question about the power

The remote turn on terminal on the amp needs to be connected to a switched power source. Typically, it's the remote turn-on/power antenna wire on the head unit. If your head unit doesn't have such a control wire, connect the remote turn-on terminal to a wire that's controlled by the ignition switch.

It's VERY important to fuse all of the wires properly. If you're unsure of the proper fuse for a given wire size, read pages 14 and 16 of the Basic Car Audio Electronics site.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
