You will require a volt meter to find out what wires are doing what if you don't have a wiring diagram.

The wires to the subwoofer in my 1991 ls400 are missing when bought car. Where do I hook up new wires. What color are the wires that I need to splice into. Or do I go directly to the amp.

I'd run directly to the amp, myself - you never know for sure if any existing wiring is connected where it's supposed to be connected, or pinched under a seat and shorted to ground, like that.

Replacing stock tail light w/led tail light, on my 01 harley softail std, need the color codes to be able to accomplish

I would not splice any wire due to the fact that Kuryakyn, Drag specialties, Custom Chrome and many other manufacturers has direct plug in L.E.D. tail light assemblies for your particular motorcycle.

My brake and all back lights went out. Sometimes my radio suddenly goes out what should i do 2000 cadillac catera

When you say all back lights go out is that also the indecators as well if no then the problem sounds like in the wire conectors from front to rear but if indecators also go out then you have a brake in the wires or plug coming adrift somewhere like under the Firewall/Seats or along the side were the wires run /or in the boot where something has been pulled or moved,, turn on lights play around with wires untill goes out ,,,then find and FIX

Tail lights work , turn and brake wont work, flat trailer plug

Chances are it is the block were the wires all plug together that is shot. Try changing them out, not very expensive and could save you a lot of hair pulling.

Trying to connect a teekonsha voyager brake control to a 2003 expedition

Their should be a 6 pin conector that only 4 pins are used somtimes a 5th wire is installed for illumination, don't worrie about using that one. The connector is located in one or two different spots, the most popular place is under the dash on the drivers side just below the steering column the connector is grey. The colors are black or red / blue / green / white and sometimes a small black or brown wire is for illumination, don't worrie about that wire. Their are wiring harnasses for sell to hook the brake control through the conector, but if you do not want to buy an adapter hook the wires as followed: Vehicle Brake Control
Black or Red Black
Blue Blue
Green Red
White White
Black is power in to the brake control
Blue is the trailer brake feed
Green is brake signal
White is Ground for the brake control

Brake lights 1977 chevy silverado

If the left turn signal works but the left brake light doesn't, you probably need a new turn signal switch. This is inside the steering column behind the steering wheel. You have to remove the steering wheel to get to it. The brake lights are wired through the turn signal switch so the brake light on one side is de-activated when the turn signal is flashing on that side.

If the brake light and turn signal both are not working on one side, you probably have an open circuit somewhere. This could be anywhere from the turn signal switch through the wiring harnesses that go through the steering column, under the dash, possibly through the firewall, down along the frame, and back to the taillight bulb.

WIRING HARNESS FOR 2001 GMC JIMMY

You should have a wiring harness already there. There will be a plug with 3 female and one male connection. White is ground, Green is right turn, Yellow is left turn and Brown is tail lights. If you are installing a brake controller. You will have to run a 10 or 12 gauge blue color wire.
