I have come to my wits end. I have been having electrical power issues for the past 6 weeks on my 2006 955i. 3 new batteries a new regulator and still not able to hold charge. So much so that I was nearly killed on six-lane freeway on SF bay bridge in commute hour when my bike lost all electrical power. Please help!!!!!!

The battery couldn't charge , how could i check electric chargine systm of the engine? have already replaced a new battery and also rectify . hope this could be wiring issue...

Why start changing things, if you don't know how it works? As a repair engineer, I first establish what is defect and that part I then replace wit a new one. On al motors and cars, is a voltage regulator to keep the max voltage in check. It decides if the battery must be charged or not. The regulator can be mechanical, but modern regulators are electronic and more complex. But there also can be a bad connection or a broken cable in your mother.

Battery won't hold charge

It most likely needs a new battery, but you could try giving the battery a full charge first:

1. Power off the laptop and disconnect the power adapter.
2. Re-seat the battery (remove/reinsert)
3. Reconnect the power adapter and let it charge overnight. (6 hr+)
4. Disconnect the power adapter.
5. Power on the laptop (run under battery power only)

If it doesn't boot up and shuts down immediately, it's probably time to see about a replacement battery.

Electrical

Could be a bad regulator/rectifier. You need to check to see what the charging system is putting out at idle, and probably 6-7K RPM's. If you have anything above 14V, you most likely have a reg/rec problem. If not, look for a short in the wiring somewhere.

!989 Dodge Daytona, Will not start sometimes.

Retime your engine to start off, and then try cleaning the fuel injector and check your fuel pump(s).
