The other night I was riding my 2007 Kymco 150 B&W home traveling around 45 mph and I lost the drive and the engine stopped....my first thought was the transmission belt so decided not to try to restart the scooter......is there an online manual source....?? I do have over 7000 km on the scooter and manual says the belts should be replaced around that mileage But I can't understand why the engine would cut out too??

you have to figure out how to remove the side body panels first.i just examined mine, starting taking off a few screws at a time.it does take quite a tug to undo the panel from the clips.the back 3 clips you had to slide toward the back to unseat, but first to unseat the front 2 i had to pull straight out.that should give you enough access to the chain case.REMEMBER PULL THE PANEL A LITTLE HARD BUT BE CAREFUL,THEY LOOK LIKE THEY COULD BREAK.cheap a$$ foreign ****.

carb, air filter?if it is only downhill maybe the chain can't keep up since you are at max.auto clutch?that's something different.good luck.
Testimonial: "Thanks very much for this. Looks like this scooter is not meant to go over 100 km/hr (downhill). I have a short section of freeway when commuting - better avoid it"

google your kymco model and cc SERVICE MANUAL.i found mine in pdf.it was chinese and english on the same page.
