Torque spec for front drive sprocket 2017r1
The torque specification for the front drive sprocket on a 2017 Yamaha YZF-R1 (R1) motorcycle is typically around 90 Nm (66.4 lb-ft). However, it's crucial to consult the service manual for your specific model and follow manufacturer-recommended torque values to ensure proper installation.
On my o6 roadstar 1700. The oil is getting sucked into the carb and smokes terribly. Not for real long though. It runs all the oil out real quick. Anyone have any ideas?
I hope I can help you brother. Crankcases have a breather tube and it expels exhaust gasses, those gases press themselves in between cylinder and piston. It makes the oil black and acid response on coal is not good for engine parts. The breather tube is mostly connected to the low pressure chamber below the air filter. Typically that is close to the air intake for the carburetor. Remove the air filter and its base plate and clean the compartment careful with dust free rags. I don't know of any technical details for this cruiser but there can be valves on front of the carb, small membranes that open on revelations and the known gas slides. Those must not be effected by sticky substances. Oil is not sticky but the intended functioning leaves a residue.
You need in any case, to check the oil level. Also the condition of the oil, so you made sure there is no gray foam from water contamination. Droplets on the dipstick, or on the inspection window glass, indicate fuel in the oil.
When the oil level is between Min and Max or low and it turns out to be pure, then I suspect you have a leaking piston ring or even a damaged piston side wall. I would not ride the bike far before you know certain. You also wouldn't want a sudden stop. The compression blows in hard and unnoticed, the slow sucking breather tube is then turned into a hose. After each ride the access spill can flow down the carb. Compression can be tested in a shop but turning the engine over without spark, may provide audible evidence when the compression is really low in one cylinder. I ones had an unnoticed broken piston ring, on a moped and that damaged the piston. Best of luck

My hyosung gv650 starter kicks over when I connect the battery with the ignition is of
Check the actual switch on the handle bar. These can sometimes fail and stick in the on or off position.
This could also be a faulty solenoid between the battery and the starter motor.
Try this. Find the Solenoid. It's usually a small, black, round barrel shaped block. It will have two small and two large cables attached to the top of it. Disconnect one of the Small wires and reconnect the battery. If it kicks over it is most likely the solenoid.
Disconnect the battery. Refit the Small wire then reconnect the battery. If the engine kicks over it could be the actual starter button.

2005 Suzuki 250 refuse to start even after replacing kickster and battery.
f your 2005 Suzuki 250 is refusing to start even after replacing the kickstarter and battery, there could be several other potential issues to consider. Here are some troubleshooting steps to help you diagnose and resolve the problem:
- Check the Fuel: Ensure that your motorcycle has an adequate supply of fuel in the tank. Sometimes, an empty tank or a clogged fuel filter can prevent the engine from starting.
- Inspect the Spark Plug: A fouled or damaged spark plug can hinder ignition. Remove the spark plug, inspect it for fouling, and replace it if necessary. Also, check the spark plug wire for any damage or loose connections.
- Examine the Air Filter: A dirty or clogged air filter can restrict airflow and affect engine performance. Inspect the air filter, and if it's dirty, clean or replace it.
- Verify the Ignition System: Ensure that the ignition system is functioning correctly. Check for spark by removing the spark plug, grounding it against the engine, and cranking the engine while observing for a spark. If there's no spark, the ignition system may need attention.
- Inspect the Carburetor: A malfunctioning carburetor can cause starting issues. Check for clogs, blockages, or a stuck float valve. Cleaning or rebuilding the carburetor may be necessary.
- Verify the Fuel System: Ensure that fuel is reaching the carburetor. Check for fuel flow by disconnecting the fuel line at the carburetor and cranking the engine briefly. Fuel should flow from the line.
- Compression Test: Low compression can also prevent the engine from starting. Perform a compression test to check the engine's compression levels. If compression is low, it may indicate internal engine problems that require professional attention.
- Electrical Connections: Ensure that all electrical connections are secure, including those to the starter motor and solenoid. Loose or corroded connections can prevent the starter from engaging.
- Safety Switches: Some motorcycles have safety switches like a kickstand switch or a clutch lever switch. Ensure that these switches are not preventing the bike from starting when they shouldn't be.
- Professional Inspection: If you've checked all of the above and still can't identify the issue, it may be best to have a qualified motorcycle mechanic or technician inspect your bike. They have the expertise and tools to diagnose and fix more complex problems.
