Computer may not b recognizin new stuf. Mite need it reprogramd. Hav it scanned or do a datastream to target issue. Buy a shopbook for that model online

Was it connected before? Many manufacturers add plugs which aren't used on a particular model but are used on others. If it was in use, It would be in reach of the part you are holding. If you are replacing 2 shift forks, I would replace ALL of them.. if they show signs of wear, replace all of them! You also need to find out WHY they are worn out! Bent shift shaft? Do you ride with pressure on the shifter after you have shifted (to make sure it stays in gear)...If the bike has been dropped on the left side, you might have bent them. A PROFESSIONAL needs to inspect you transmission!!

Depending on the climate that you live in. Cold temps SAE10W30SE to hotter climates SAE10W40SE. Hotter climates still and if you can find it 20W40 and 20W50 Off hand, don't know the size of the crush washer. I assume this is for the oil pan drain plug. They are of a very common size and freely available at just about any motorcycle parts store. They are an aluminium washer, not a copper crush one. I've actually never replaced one ever and have never had a leak. If they are a little deformed you can sand them lightly to even them out.

Bring the #1 piston (not sure if its the far right or far left piston) to top dean center on the compression stroke. There should be timing marks on the stator/generator flywheel (two of them) one is the TDC mark and the other is the timing mark. You use the TDC one! Then time BOTH cams (there should be a mark) ..make sure the piston is still at TDC and both cams have the BOTH cams lobes are108* away from the lifters.

Hello Aaron, your question is very general so I'll answer it that way. The flashes are like morse code. Yamaha will have a list of problems/diagnoses related to the flashing codes on the engine management light.

google a schematic for your application, this could be perfectly normal

NO -- there is no connection the problem may be in the wiring harness , ground point , regulator or the unit itself Have an accredited bike electrician check it out

i only know codes up to 70, try asking a yamaha dealer thry may b able to tell you what code is
