Will it go back out? Check for something obstructing or possibly a wire getting pinched in the mechanism.

Where xan I find the front bedroom slide mechanism on my 2015 sunset trail reserve 5th wheel, please?

If you lift the foot of the bed, you will have storage. Look for a hole on the near edge of the foot to lift the secondary floor panel. In here you will have access to the motor, wires and guide rails for the slide. Depending on what you need in this area (troubleshooting), keep in mind you should have 12VDC unless the battery disconnect is off/open.

Kitchen slide will only go out 7 inches. it stops. it retracts ok but only goes out 7 inches and stops. are the cables suspose to be slack

I can only assume this is an RV you are talking about. No there should not be slack. I would start by finding the manual slide out mechanism. It will be a hand crank type or unit. Manually slide the kitchen unit out and then try to slide it back in with the button. That will either bring it all the way back in or you can see that the motor is bad or the limits are off.

Our slide will not close completely. It went in half-way and then acted as though there was no power to the slides at all.

check the limiting micro switches that stop power and operation when the limit is reached ( there is one for in and one for out )
it is possible that wire has become disconnected or a switch is faulty

How to adjust rv slide

Check to ensure that it's not the cabinets or the frame they are mounted on that hasn't warped or shifted. If the camper is a 2015 take that puppy back to the dealership and have them do it. There shouldn't be a charge, especially if the issue is a broken or damaged part that is still under warranty!

What does "rs forward" mean on my fuse box panel?

Could mean anything since there aren't any standardized labeling procedures. Do you have two slides on the right (passenger or curb) side of the coach? It may be the forward slide on that side or it could be all of the lights on the forward right side. Turn everything on in the coach that is 12v then pull the fuse and see what stops working.
