1994 Mercedes-Benz S-Class "sl500 radio antenna" Questions

sl500 radio goes on but just hear static cause the antenna doesnt go up. I shut the radio on and off andI dont hear any motor at all running fo rthe antenna. Is there a fuse to check? any ideas? check
