It cracks and pops out the exhaust on the number one cylinder at idle. Air leak in the exhaust somewhere - check from the header back.

...805cc engine as on my 2006 Boulevard S-50. They take two spark plugs, one per cylinder near the exhaust ports. I recommend NGK- 5129 gapped at 0.035

exhaust pipes back fire It could be valve timing, it could be a leak in the exhaust more than likely it is an exhaust leak. I would check out the timing as well just to be safe
