hard starting when cold also have to run with choke on for long time maybe little gas is flowing in your carborator. just adjust to get more flow the gas. no need to choke if the gas flows normally

...are there any kinks in the fuel line? Also take the fuel line off the fuel petcock, turn the gas lever and make sure gas is flowing through the petcock well... if not, you'll need to replace
