Your laptop does have a DVD re-writer which is needed for copying DVD's

You will need to purchase some blank DVD's firstly to copy your project onto

Secondly if you click Start>Porgrams>Accessories>Windows movie maker, you can use this to create your project, there is a tutorial on there to help you get through the software

Just put in the blank dvd without trying to burn anything to it and see
if your pc see's the blank dvd, if not find one that is recognized by your pc. After you put in a blank dvd, it should show under my computer in the drive and should be able to open it like a folder, or
windows will pop up a little window that ask's if you would like to burn anything to the dvd.

I have an asus pc 1000hd that does this every now and then. I hold the power button down and the whole machine shuts off after a few seconds. Either that or you can take out the battery, wait a few seconds and then reinsert it

Clean out the cooling fan/vents, etc. and try again. If the fan isn't turning, it won't boot up. If that doesn't work, you may need to disconnect the power supply and battery and then hold down the power button for 30-60 seconds. This will discharge stored energy from your laptop. I'm not sure of the specifics, but this happens to mine every 12-18 months or so. Once you've done that, reconnect the charger and battery and try to power up again. It should work now. If these steps don't fix it, you have serious problems.

Take the battery out, unplug the charger, etc. then hold the power button down for a full minute or so. Then put the battery back in and connect the charger (if necessary) and it should power up and operate normally. I have to do this to mine about every 12-18 months, but other than that it's still going strong for nearly 10 years of nearly daily use.

Only solu I've got is to get rid of Windows.

if your computer has the history of repair, i suggest you have to take it back to the technician and check if all hardware are properly installed. if not, it maybe a short circuit on your board. thanks
