Return back to the store where purchased, if bought from a retailer or 3rd party without an receipt your screwed. better chance next time and remember to buy a SONY or NiKON brand camera with interchangable lens. Good Luck to ya!
Not taking pictures
Check that your digital camera is not in playback or review mode. Make sure the memory card is in the camera and that the card is properly formatted. The Memory Card may be full. Download the images to the computer or delete some to make way for new photos. Check the charge on the batteries. Replace if necessary.Have you been using the flash? It may be recharging. You don't need any additional software.The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or, despite what I said first, you can use any photo cataloging program such as
Picasa.
Just changed the battery yet red light flashes constantly
For starters, if the 'red light' flashes, either your area WHERE you charged it has a temperature that is either too hot, or too cold, so you should charge it in another area. Another tip, is maybe you're charging it for too long, or NOT long enough, so you should try it out.If those two DIDN'T do fix your problem, than it could be your battery pack. You should see if something is wrong with it, or buy a new one. But it may ALSO be your camera, like if you dropped it, or something.
