According to my manual If I get a E:03 display it says I should call the manufacturer. Recommend you do that.....number on the manual fo rmy toastmaster is 800-947-3744

Hi, If this is the third time using it, it could be defective. Return it for service. If not under warranty, try a few things. 1) Make sure the pan is inserted in the machine correctly. 2) Make sure that the paddle is not sticking, or the sealed bearing on the bottom of the bread pan is not broken or frozen. (Take pan out and see if you can turn the paddle freely by hand). Or finally, the belt may be loose and slipping, especially when it takes more power to knead the dough the second time. go to the store where u bought the bread maker and ask them where u can get a replacement belt...if no luck ring the manufacturer and ask them....

Oct,8'08 I found a Toastmaster BREADBOX Breadmaker Model 1148x but no manual. I just downloaded the pdf file for the 65 page manual and recipes from http://kitchen.manualsonline.com/manuals/mfg/toastmaster/1148x.html for free. There is a free signup for the privacy and terms and conditions.
Also, a couple of sites refer to an 800 phone number (did bnot call it so do not know if it works) that is the same as the one for customer service on the back of the manual Part No. 33519P02, copyright 2000 Toastmaster Inc. a subsidiary of Salton, Inc.:
