Hi, I have a Rheem RTG-74PVN-2 tankless hot water
Remove power source from the unit. If remote control is installed; remove cover and lift the control wires on the terminal...can be accomplished from either end. See if the unit runs longer.
If you're receiving any error codes, especialy code 76; contact RHeem customer support at (800-432-8373) and notify them IF you are getting a code "76" error.

Heater refuses to come on
Make sure that the gas valve is fully open. Check to see if you have voltage going into it, and the curcuit breaker didn't trip. If it's plugged into a GFCI outlet or circuit breaker, then make sure that it didn't trip.

It is the code for the thermocouple or
oxygen depleation sensor call rheem and thay will send
you a how to in PDFs but check the venting first
