I WAS TOLD THAT MY WATER HEATER IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY BECAUSE OF WE ARE 7000FT IN ELEVATION AND APPARENTLY HEATER WAS SET TO SEA LEVEL.

Question moved from Kitchen Ranges. You need a High Altitude Conversion Kit from the maker. Then you need a gas registered technician to fit them and adjust. Standard altitude is up to 2,000 feet above sea level, https://www.google.com/search?q=gas+water+heater+setting+for+altitude+above+sea+level ..

My ecosense 180dvn sends out an error code of 13

I have the exact same problem with error code 13 on my Rheem/Ecosense 180dvn . The unit ran good for at least a year, and then I started getting the same error 13 every few minutes. I called the Rheem service department, and they told me to check the vent installation as well as the gas pressure. I reinstalled the vent with new seals. I only have about 6 ft of vent, so there should be very little resistance. I checked the gas pressure, and it shows 9 in H20 pressure, which is well in the range recommended. The service center scoffed at the suggestion that it could be their circuit board. I am totally at a losss and at the verge of ripping this very expensive installation out of my attic.

What does code 13 mean on a tankless eater heater

Error code 13 referrs to the gas pressure and or venting issue. Please ensure the gas pressures are correct and the vent is free of any obstructions. It also may be a failed ecu chip. Service tech may be required but first check for obstructions in intake/exhaust venting. Bird nest- bees and foreign material.

Rheem Eco-180dvn. Error code 12

actually, does it give you a big rumble? if it does, then your problem is that the meter's btu's are not high enough and there's too litle gas getting to the heater so it's blowing itself out, basically. you'll need to call your gas provider and ask for them to bring in a higher btu meter. around 220,000 btu meter is best, so your furnace and gas stove(if you have one) dont take to much gas themselves, meaning dont get a 180,000 btu meter, because it would only be able to supply the heater.

How do I flush this unit

1) Copy following link for steps showing how to run white vinegar through Rheem tanklessx heat exchanger to partially remove scale that coats heat exchanger and reduces unit efficiency and causes error code IL:http://waterheatertimer.org/Troubleshoot-Rheem-Tankless-water-heater.html#de-lime2) Tankless are prone to scale inside heat exchanger and require yearly deliming to mitigate effects. Do the required yearly maintenance to avoid common error codes.3) Expected cost of maintenance and repair is more expensive than estimated $1-8 monthly energy-bill savings from owning tankless. Electric shower just installed cuts out at fusebox after being on for about a minute

10-20-12Circuit breaker is tripping on electric shower? This could be absolute danger until more information is known.1) Breakers trip because they sense heat, because the wire size is too small, or breaker size is mismatched with wire. Or breaker is loose on busbar.Copy following links to determine correct wiring and breaker:http://waterheatertimer.org/Color-codewire.htmlhttp://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-wire-Tankless-electric-water-heater.htmlGFCI circuit breaker will trip because of same heat condition described above, and also trip if ground fault is detected.Water leaking into element will trip GFCI.Absolutely you need to get this problem fixed before shower is put back into service.Call electrician, or the installer, or the manufacturer, or all.http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-wire-GFCI.html#spa If you need further help, I’m available over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/gene_9f0ef4df2f9897e7

I am getting a C2

Multiple error codes can mean PC board failure.
C2 11 is no ignition.
Error 24 is malfunction of operational switch: "press max or mim button on PC board, or replace PC board." On some models, max and mim button can be located just above dip switches, and rotates with screwdriver. See diagram in manual.

The eco 180 dv tankless

You have tankless water heater, and no error code.
Burner does not activate with one faucet, but activates with 3 faucets.
Best suspect is crossover:

http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/No-Error-Code.pdf
Problem can be a combination of causes including Tankless part failure: sensors are not working, PC board is bad, wires are loose. Call service technician to catch up on yearly maintenance and troubleshoot problem. Tankless water heaters require yearly maintenance.
