if not the inlet or outlet connections-the heating elements or relief valve then most likely have a damaged tank and most likely need a replacement

I cannot find information on SRM water heater in my files or on the internet

That's the next step. Make sure the flame sensor on the pilot assembly is in the blue part of the pilot flame. If it isn't the gas valve will not open the main burner.

All dip tubes on water heaters smaller than 75 gallons are 3/4" male pipe thread to screw into the heater. As for length, go to a plbg supply and ask for a dip tube for a 50 gallon heater, and if it is too long, cut it. I believe that Home Depot also has them right out on the floor for sale.

Call Rheem about this. Your service tech is missing something.

The "whisper quiet" blower could have a bad bearing, bad bushing, or the blade might be rubbing against part of the cowling. If rubbing against metal, you might be able to realign where it no longer rubs. Careful, it may be very hot!

If it ran for more than 5minutes prior to this problem, then it's probably not the breaker. The water heater is 9000 watts and at 240volts should draw around 37amps. Fuse/breaker should be ~1.25X the current so the breaker amps is around 46, but they don't make that one. So 50 ? The problem is related to the heating elements since that's about the only thing that could gradually trip the breaker. My guess.

If cold water has good pressure, and you are not on a well ,try turning water Off to water heater,open tap to relieve pressure remove hot side left water line to heater stick long screw driver inside pipe going inside water ,the heat trap is sticking it's rubber flap inside the pipe going in water heater.
