I have a Dark Green liner and the outside color is

I actually have that very same crock pot and my dark green crock and solid glass top are in perfect condition, but the electrical cord is starting to tear and expose the wire. I think it's doing this because the cord isn't underneath the unit and is on the very back. Is there anyway to find a new electrical base?? I LOVE my crock pot, especially because it's the perfect size, nice and big for a pot roast. Does anybody want to sell their electrical base? or I'm wondering if should try and sell my dark green crock and glass lid? Is there anyway to buy another electrical base???

Replacement Lid

You can buy them at most "Small Appliance Repair outlets", and even Sears. On line try: http://www.marbeck.com/crock_parts_rival.html

The bowl is cracked, can I order a new one?

You can check for replacement parts here. They didn't show any parts listed when I put in 3745, so you might need to check the label on your cooker to see if there's more to it. If they still don't show any parts available, thry give a toll-free number to call where you might be able to get more help.

I'm looking for a rival crock pot lid for a #3745

Parts for RIval cookers are available through Crock-Pot.com. They don't show any parts when I looked up 3745. You can try entering the model number from your cooker as they show; maybe there are more letters or numbers and you'll have better luck. If they still don't have parts, you can try their "contact us" link and see if someone there can help.

If you've already tried this, you're out of luck unless you can find a lid from some other cooker that's a close match. Once the manufacturer quits supplying parts, you usually end up replacing the entire appliance. Good luck in your search, and thanks for using Fixya!

My Rival crock pot lid never fit correctly-it

Mine does that also. Sometimes the crock will shrink or deform when they fire it to put the glaze on it. It is best to catch it as soon as you open it, so you can return it for an exchange, but if you are willing to wait and spend the time, you can get them to send you a new one. You have to play phone games and ask to get transferred to the right person. If sometimes helps to say that you have been a long time customer and you are always happy with the quality of Rival products, but this one has fallen short of their usual high quality. Etc, etc. Or you can cheat, go buy the exact same model from the store again, and use the new receipt to return this defective one.

Large, oval, Rival, stoneware crock ... white.

Believe or not, go to your local Goodwill Store! They have tons of crocks and the lids and the cookers separate frm each other that have been donated becase one of the pieces was broken and they donated the rest of the pieces. Lids and crocks typically range from $1.99 to $5.99 and you benefit your community at the same time.

Rival Stoneware liners

The factory could probably ship you a new Stoneware pot, but the cost of the pot plus the shipping cost for that heavy item would probably be as much as a new unit. My suggestion is to replace the whole cooker.

Rival crock pot

I see no reason why you cant put the crock in the oven. I recommend you keep the temperature under 375 degrees or so.

Can I put the stoneware

I know you can put it in the microwave, but it is very heavy and could damage the revolving turntable mechanism if your microwave has one. I see no reason why you cannot put it in the oven as well.
