Malibu transformer

Unplug transformer, change bulbs with low voltage bulbs from local hardware or home center. There are two screws on back of each bulb.Copy following link for tips to get power pack to last longer, replacement trippers, warranty, troubleshoot. etchttp://waterheatertimer.org/Malibu-power-pack-stopped-working.htmlReason for unplugging transformer: because product manual lists that as best way to change bulbs. The low voltage transformer output is 12Volts and does not carry enough power to cause you harm if you touch bare wire.Add a comment and attach photo as needed. Can I install on a 20 amp circuit with a 15 amp GFCI plug? The unit says 120 v 6 amp max

Jan 20131) Yes. With 6 amps.It is not purely code, but generally not dangerous. Most household outlets and switches sold at home center are actually rated 15 amp, and should be on a 15 amp breaker. just don't overload.http://waterheatertimer.org/Color-codewire.htmlhttp://waterheatertimer.org/Troubleshoot-household-electricity.html#heat2) However if you are running close-to or higher amps than 15 amps, such as space heater (volts x amps = watts), then I would suggest installing 20 amp arc-fault breaker, and protect whole circuit.http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-wire-GFCI.html#arc-fault3) Add comment and say what you do.
