SEBO C2 HOW TO GET TO REWIND
Look closely for a button that will retract the cord or pull the cord out like a window blind. If the cord is pulled too far out it my not retract.
I think my motor is broken , can i simply replace
Unless you know what you're doing, you can easily mess the whole thing up. It's not hard to replace the motor, but its a task you have to pay close attention to. If you can, get the motor from Sebo and then take it to a local vacuum shop and have it installed. But first make sure they are an authorized Sebo ship
Machine keeps cutting out
My Sebo Air Belt C2 Total. The automatic electric cable wire won't stay out when pulled, it just springs back. When I'm hoovering I have to wrap the wire around the small wheels so that it doesn't shoot back in the machine.
The cable is jammed in the machine, just won't
If you have a machine that pulls the cord back into itself, and it seems stuck there and won't come out, you'll have to open the machine up to see why it's not functioning properly. If you don't feel competant to do that yourself, or don't have someone who will do that for you, then you will have to take it into a shop that works on vacuums. It should not be much to solve that problem..
Power cord will not fully unwind. Is there any way
OK, but be warned... it's not so difficult getting the thing apart, but making a neat job of reassembly has been known to drive grown men to despair. And that's because you have to remove the airbelt. But first things first:
1. remove the hose
2. remove the hose-retaining ring
3. remove the flap that covers the green filter.
4. remove the screw beneath that flap nearest to the handle (there's a deeply recessed screw on the other side, but you can ignore that)
5. remove the clip at the back of the machine where the airbelt joins (lever it off carefully with a screwdriver)
6. this is where it begins to get interesting. The airbelt is in two parts - the bulky foam strip and a thin material cover. The cover is held in grooves, top and bottom, running all the way round the machine, by two thin plastic strips around which it is wrapped and which just slip into those grooves. The first challenge is to get those strips, and the covering material, out without damaging them. Just prise one end out with a small screwdriver and work your way around the machine - it's more a matter of patience than anything else. (The second challenge is getting it back neatly!)
7. remove the ends of the foam strip far enough to reveal two plastic clips that hold top and bottom of the body together
8. prise those clips off with a screwdriver.
9. it should now be possible to lift the top cover off. It can be a bit fiddly getting it off over the neck where the hose plugs in, but it does come off.
10. the cable rewind spool is now revealed in all its glory.
11. if you've found my advice helpful so far, here's a final piece... don't try to fit a new cable to the old spool - fit a complete new spool.
12. good luck!

My Sebo hoover trips the house mains sockets
Hello,
It sounds like your vacuum is fine if it works when plugged in the kitchen outlet. It is tripping the breaker switch in the other room because the circuit is overloaded (too many things plugged in this circuit). Try unplugging some things in that room and try your vacuum again.
If it only trips when using one particular outlet, then the outlet should be replaced. I would recommend having an electrician check your wiring out.
Hope this helps

You probably have a clog either in the hose, wand or the inlet down by the brush roll. Unhook the hose from the want and see if you have suction there and if the light stays off. Disconnect the wnd and look down thru it to make sure it is clear. If there is no obstruction, then the circuit board has a problem. But I would suspect a clog.
Sebo x1.1 Vacuum hose won't disconnect from the wand
If the hose on your Sebo X1.1 vacuum cleaner will not disconnect from the wand, it is possible that the hose is stuck or the connection is damaged. Here are a few things you can try to try to disconnect the hose:
- Gently twist and turn the hose while pulling it away from the wand. Be careful not to apply too much force, as you do not want to damage the hose or the wand.
- Check the connection point on both the hose and the wand for any visible damage or debris that may be preventing the hose from disconnecting.
- If the connection point is clear of debris but the hose is still stuck, you may be able to use a penetrating oil such as WD-40 to loosen the connection. Spray a small amount of oil on the connection point and allow it to sit for a few minutes before attempting to disconnect the hose again.
- If none of these methods work, it is possible that the connection is damaged and will need to be repaired or replaced. In this case, it may be best to seek the assistance of a professional or to contact the manufacturer for further assistance.

My SEBO Pet vacuum makes a “screaming” sound when I take the main attachment off of the hose. It is absolutely fine when the long attachment is on and I’m vacuuming the floor for example, but if I use the hose on its own or with the small attachments, it makes a horrible sound until I put my hand over the end of it. What could be causing this? No obvious blockages, the bag isn’t full and the filter isn’t particularly blocked.
Remove the hose from the bag housing by pinching the retaining ring that attaches the hose to the machine. Turn the vacuum on with the hose removed. If the sound persists, the sound is coming from the hose itself. Hold the hose, letting it hang towards the ground. Look through the hose to see if anything is lodged. A scream or whistle can be caused by a paperclip, bobby pin, toothpick, or paper fragment stuck in the hose. You could also have a small tear or hole in the hose material, so carefully inspect the hose for cracks or holes.
