Refrigerator Water Dispenser Leaks?
Refrigerator Water Dispenser Leaks show that the refrigerator's water system has a problem. To fix this problem, open the filter compartment and pull out the filter and push it back in so that it is secure in place. Push compartment cover until it clicks.
try to check this video.
I ran into this problem last year on the same or similar model.
if there is no cooling or fans or compressor running ,but lights are on in both compartments,and no control numbers are on the electronic control mounted to the left of the compressor is the cause of the
problem. It is expensive but rebuilts are available on Ebay .Ive
used national rebuilder parts many times,with excelent results.
There is an air duct between the freezer and the refrig which has to be set for what is in the bottom drawer ,either fresh veggies or meat.
check the settings.
is it defrosting as it should?is there snow type frost on the evap cover in the freezer?
if this isn't the problem very limited opening of the refer can cause
the cold freezer temp to migrate to the frig side due to inactivity .
did you actually take temps of both sides around the mid point of both sides to see if they are correct .ref 35-37 freezer 0_+5 at normal settings.
many things can cause this issue.you must eliminate them one by one.
Simplicity = less maintenance...
The more gadgets and fancy features you get, the more there is to break.
I particularly advise people of this on washers and dryers...
The low end, simple appliances can be, easily, self maintained. The fancy, electronic controls, etc. mean higher repair costs and less reliability. Many of the "Name Brand" appliance makers will make alternate brand names for their cheaper models. Do some research.
