How to remove back cover
To access anything inside this washer the cabinet must be rempved first.
Using a phillips screwdriver, remove the 2 screws at the base of the control panel on the right and left sides.
Fold the control panel to the rear of the machine.
Unplug the lid switch wires.
Remove the 2 S clips from the right and left corners that secure the back panel to the cabinet.
Pull the cabinet forward to expose all interior parts.
Water leak
Sounds like a hose on the inside of the washer. Have you checked them? If all of them are tight and not leaking for sure. It might be the drain stopped up or a slow drain. The water is pumped out of the machine faster than just a drain, like on a sink does.
Kitchen Aid Washer - Model #KAWE565BWH1 will not
The first thing I would check is the door switch. This is probably the most likely cause of your problem. Try to activat e the door switch manually with a posicle stick or something small enough to go in the hole to push the switch in to get the machine to run. This is a safety feature on washing machines to keep the machine from spinning or agitating with the lid open.
KAWS677EQO Washer The agitator is tightly
It sounds as though the agitator dogs are jammed. Usually they strip and don't agitate at all. Here is a picture if you can open it:

The agitator dogs are number 17 on it. They are cheap ($5.15 on appliancepartspros.com) and pretty easy to change. pop off the top of the agitator, pull out the cap, remove the bolt and plate under it and you'll find the 4 plastic dogs.
Kaws750lq0-does not spin
Do you hear any noises coming from the machine when it is in a spin cycle?
yes----you probably need a new motor coupling, this unit does not have a belt, it has a coupling part number 285753A
NO--- then i would be willing to bet you lidswitch is bad, inspect it by listening for a clicking noise when you open and close the like. part number 8054980

My KitchenAid washer will agitate, but the upper
Based on your description, the problem is likely the self-rising tube that comes from the base (bottom) water feed tube. It may not be rising to engage the top assembly....
If it fails to rise all the way, the water will just spray into and on it and cause it to wobble versus rotate.
Pull up on the bottom feed tube - just to confirm that it will move freely...... (food, soap scum and age can prevent it from moving freely.) Clean and retry the washer.....
