My washer also did not drain. I disconnected the power supply and water hoses and the drain hose and lay the machine on its side.. The motor is at the bottom. Once I disconnected the hose and put my finger to look inside. There is a rubber stopper and once I moved that aside and looked inside I found my baby sock stuck in the the pump. Once I gently pulled the sock out It came out easily. Lucky me the motor is in working condition. My washing machine was manufactured I believe in 1997. This is the first time ever took look under any washing machine. Best of luck!

Wild guess you are right! But could be other things. You will need to remove back to see if the belt is a problem. Could be the tention device perhaps a spring has broken or come off. Could also be something caught or binding underneath the agitator. Or depending on the age, may be bearings in the agitator transmission. Less likely may be bearings in the motor.

Seem to me the drum bearing have gone I have had motor giving a similar problem

If your washing machine shakes violently or if there's a loud thumping noise during the spin cycle, the load of clothes has probably gotten unbalanced. Open the lid, redistribute the clothes in the washer, then re-start it. Repeat these steps if necessary.

Sounds like door switch has dislodged or has foreign material inside it preventing full closure.inspect clean or replace.

It won't spin without the belt. You need to place the belt from the motor to gearbox and there may be a tension pulley. Most are adjusted by loosening the motor and pulling it tight

This will be the fill valve solenoid. Is it otherwise working well and filling properly?

It is probably a broken motor coupler.
