KitchenAid KAWS750L Top Load Washer Questions & Answers
My Kitchenaid washer stops on the rinse cycle...
Do you have an age of the machine and model number? Is there a "spin only" cycle? On older machines, there was a center knob you could slowly rotate, one click at a time, to advance it through its cycle. Can you do that? If the unit is agitating, I don't believe the belt is your issue. Age and model please.
I need to see if
All you have to do is pop the top cap off, this should just pull off, you may have to rock it back and forth to loosen it. The inside the stem is a clear plastic cap with handles, pull that straight up and out as well, the this gives you acces to the bolt that holds it together. You will need a ratchet and extension and I believe a 9/16 socket to remove the bolt. After the bolt is out the agitator will pull straight up and off. While you have it out, replace the agitator dogs, the little plastic pieces inside the stem, these are only 10 dollers and can save you a service call later on when they wear out.
If you need more help with this let me know and I will be glad to assist you.
