Kenmore KTR2205SPR Bread Maker - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Any other recipes for the Kenmore?
mcatlin5 - I have the same breakmaker and use recipes I find online all the time with no problems. They just have to be recipes for bread machines (and the right number of pounds for the loaf). Maybe you can help me...I have moved and lost my manual, which had a recipe for Spring Garden Bread - spring onions, green peppers, V-8 juice...do you have that recipe? I would LOVE to find it again - I've looked everywhere. Thanks in advance if you can help me!

Kenmore automatic bread maker 48480 missing manual
Hi Shelby, I, like you, also have the model 48480 sans manual. Apparently elves are stored in the bread maker boxes and steal the instructions as soon as the box is opened. Although I have thoroughly searched the net I'm unable to find the manual. My next move will be to just wing it as I have another bread machine. Assuming the ingredients are placed in the "bucket" in the same order, I'm not above mashing the buttons just to see what happens. Special bread ed

NEED TO KNOW THE ORDER
as long as you don't use the time delay clock then it doesn't make any difference. If you use the delay program be sure to put the yeast in last right on top of the flour so it doesn't touch the liquid.

When i push the start button the display screen
That may mean that the machine is not at the proper operational temperature. Have you tried waiting a few minutes to see if the machine begins to warm up? Some machines will not start kneading until the temp sensor says the oven chamber is at the ideal temperature.

The machine gets warm but the paddle doesn't turn.
Hi, The paddle should turn freely by hand with the bread pan out of the machine. Make sure the pan is inserted in the machine correctly. If the motor shaft turns but the paddle doesn't then the sealed bearing that the paddle rotates on has failed and is frozen so the paddle does not turn.. You may need a new bread pan. Hank

My wholemeal loaves rise too high and stick to the roof.
I don't have this model breadmaker, but if your loafs are raising too high, you should either reduce the amount of sugar or the amount of yeast you put in. The yeast makes the gas that makes the bread rise. If the culture has less food (less sugar) or if the culture is smaller it start with (less yeast) than you'll get smaller loafs. Try decreasing your sugar by a tablespoon or cutting the yeast by 1/2 teaspoon. You might need to try several reductions. If you're using another source of sugar, like molasses, just cut it by the same tablespoon amount.

Baking bread without yeast
You can use flower to sub the yeast but you may have to test your new recipe many times to get it right.

I need the owners manual for this bread machine
well, since it's a Kenmore which is sold almost exclusively at Sears, just try to find your model number and go to: "www.partsdirect.com" (without quotes) and search with the model number. Many owner's manuals can be found there, if not there then, well, you can always keep an eye on ebay, to see what pops up.other resources i found that may help:"http://www.home-appliance-kitchen-aids.com/Kenmore-owner-manual.html""http://www.bobvila.com/wwwboard/messages/254171.html"
