Check top see if the arms of the drawer are fully seated into the rails which support it and extend from inside the freezer when the drawer is opened. On most french door refrig's, there are hooks on the back side and tabs on the front side which are sometimes hard to get back in. Then the door is locked into the rail with a screw at the point where the rail meets the freezer door.

Hi.
THe drain hose and duct located inside the fridge section is probably obstructed.
Most common cause for obstruction is water freezing inside line duct.
The best way to fix the problem is allowing the fridge complete defrost. This will probably fix the problem.
If it does not, the drain duct must be unlocked using a thin flexible shaft. Most of the time is sufficient to allow full defrost to fix the problem.
My kenmore refrigerator is not cooling,, I check
There are no charging ports on the unit. If the unit is not cooling, check the freezer fan to be sure it's working first. Is the compressor running? Is the thermostat set to call for cooling? Is the defrost cycle ok? Is the condenser clean? Is power ok?
If there is a leak, you will need to install a line tap valve, recover the refrigerant from the unit first, repair the leak, install a permanent charging port, pull a vacuum, and then re-charge the system. Adding a charging valve or working on refrigeration appliances is not simple and requires EPA certification (in the USA).
If the appliance is over 10 years old, you may want to weigh repairs against the cost of replacement.
Can you operate a refrigerator in a garage with
Good day,
The high and low temperature range for a domestic refrigerator is 55 and 95 degrees. Above and below that issues will appear.
Above 95 degrees the compressor will be taxed badly, and will obviously shorten it's life.
Below 55 degrees it will not run enough to keep the freezer at decent temperatures, and because it stays off long periods of time, the oil in the compresser sump will thicken, making compressor starting difficult and once again shortening it's life.
It's done all the time but there is a cost long term.
Fridge noise/
You need to get a repair man to your house ASAP. This noise you are hearing is the compressor start relay and the click sound is the overload protector heating up and shutting it off. You may have a defective relay, or possibly a bad compressor. The relay and overload are attatched to the compressor in the back of the fridge.
Check your owner's manual to see what kind of a warranty you have on the "sealed system" Hopefully the parts at least will be covered should you need a new compressor.
Sometimes if the compressor is bad on these models you can let it sit un plugged for a couple hours and try to re-start it.
Good luck to you!!
Refrigerator door left open for 11 days, now when
Hi,
Because the door was open a large amount of moisture would have been introduced to the evaporator. This moisture would condensate and freeze behind the back walls and cause ice build up on the fan motors and in the dampers. The best way to bring this back to normal is to turn the frig off for 24 hours with the doors open and food out of it. This will unthaw the ice. If you do not eliminate all the hidden frost and ice the frig will not operate to it's full potential.
How do I remove the freezer drawer
Remove phillips head screw from side of drawer supports, near the door. Lift door up and off the support rails. (easy to get off, sometimes a bit harder to get back on)
The icemaker doesn't work
how long has it been out of action,( i mean switched off ), It could well be that the pump to the ice maker may now have siezed, also take a look at the filter, any sediment would now have solidified.

Hi, on occasion your compressor windings can be damaged from the starting
components going bad. Or like you said you changed the relay that plugs with the compressor which can in
turn damaged the starting components from them continually trying to
start the compressor. Either way it sounds like you have a bad
compressor which will probably the problem. You
would probably be looking at 600 bucks or more with parts and labor for
a new compressor.
Take care
